The KH.JD series tipping bucket rain gauge is an instrument for measuring precipitation. It complies with national standards GB/T 11832-2002 “Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge,” SL61-2003 Specifications for Hydrological Automatic Telemetry Systems, and GB11831-2002 Telemetry Rain Gauge Standard for Hydrological Telemetry Devices. Connected to a data logger or computer, this instrument can be used by various types of rainfall observation stations to measure the start and end times of precipitation, cumulative rainfall, and rainfall intensity.
